Certification Grandparenting

The new EFTUniverse Certification program has understandably raised a lot of questions about whether previous EFT Certifications will be revalidated (grandparented). It is our intention to honor the trainings and certifications that have been offered over time, while upholding a high standard so that EFTU Certification will eventually be recognized by authorities such as insurers, hospital and school administrators, military officials, and government decision-makers.

After careful consideration we have settled on a grandparenting policy that balances these considerations.

All Level 1, 2 and 3 workshops you have taken from any instructor will be considered equivalent to the corresponding new workshops, whose content and structure are currently being refined. The Certificate of Attendance issued by a workshop presenter does not constitute an EFTUniverse certification. However, a Level 2 or Level 3 Certificate of Attendance does entitle you to take the online test to become respectively an Intermediate or Expert Practitioner Candidate.

Holders of Cert-I and Cert-II certificates will need to present case studies in a simplified and expedited procedure to be certified as EFT Practitioners (details to come).

In summary, to be certified as an EFT-INT Practitioner you must take Level 1 and 2 workshops, pass the Level 2 online test and present proof of experience and competence at the intermediate level (details soon). Then to continue on to EFT-EXP Practitioner you must take two Level 3 workshops with different instructors, pass the Level 3 online test (at least 6 months after the Level 2 test) and present proof of experience and competence at the expert level.
