How EFT Can Help Students Understand Difficult Homeworktap into joy book

Dear EFT Community,

EFT user, Frank Gerryts shares how EFT eases the frustration and removes the obstacles to a child's understanding of math concepts that were incomprehensible before tapping. The Setup he uses, which resulted in a breakthrough, could be applied to any subject.

I was helping my daughter with her math homework. It was something that she was having difficulty understanding and she was close to tears, saying things like "I'm useless at this," "I will never understand it," etc.

I was also getting a bit frustrated, as I felt that I had explained it in every way I could and that she should be getting it.

Finally, the light bulb went off in my head and I told her to tap on:

"Even though I can't understand this stuff, I deeply and completely accept myself."

Two rounds of tapping, with me tapping along with her, and we were both able to continue. She immediately grasped the concept that we'd been struggling with for 20 minutes or so, and completed her homework easily.

And what's most wonderful about this is that she has reversed her feelings about her inadequacy with math and we both know how to deal with any blocks that may come up in any subject. As a tool for parents to help their children (and themselves) EFT has certainly proved itself again.

Some more tapping statements to try:

"Even though math is difficult for me to learn, I deeply and completely accept myself."

"Even though doing math homework scares me to death, I deeply and completely accept myself."

"Even though my math teacher makes me feel stupid, I deeply and completely accept myself."

"Even though math is hard for me to do, I deeply and completely accept myself."

"Even though doing math homework makes me feel like crying, I deeply and completely accept myself."

"Even though my parents can't help me with my math homework, I deeply and completely accept myself as I do the best that I can."

"Even though I hate doing math, I deeply and completely accept myself."

"Even though I think I am not good at doing math, I deeply and completely accept myself."

"Even though doing math homework makes me feel like a failure, I deeply and completely accept myself."

"Even though math is not my best subject, I deeply and completely accept myself because I know I am smart."
