I came across the healing modality of EFT whilst searching to undertake training in counselling, and knew this was my path to follow. EFT helped me to restore my sense of self and has lead me to a deeper understanding of others and of life and all it encompasses. I am always grateful to be witness to the experience of transformation and self empowerment that can be found once we are able to release the holdings in our system. I am an EFT Practitioner and registered Counsellor (ACA) with a home-based clinic in Sherwood, Brisbane (as well as online). Although a trained counsellor, EFT/Tapping is the trusted therapy I use in the clinic. I work with all ages and stages with a special interest in WOMEN'S HEALTH and longevity, and especially life's ages and stages where emotional challenges are strongest. I also work with partners/spouses of adults diagnosed (or undiagnosed) with Asperger Syndrome and the vast emotional world that is often associated with this situation. I am keenly interested in the reduction of disease risk through the development of strategies for stress, and the introduction of what it means to live a measured life. I started my interest in this area over 25 years ago, then as a Medical Herbalist (ACNM) and Natural Fertility Management Counsellor (Francesca Naish -The Jocelyn Centre), and now as an EFT practitioner. My interest has now become a passion. I have over 25 years personal-practice in mindfulness and meditation and have often observed the direct relationship between the mind and its effect on the body. It was realising the importance of this mind-body connection that made be decide to dedicate myself to the study and practice of EFT and Mindfulness and to help others to learn the essential nature of this balance, in order to maximise health and well-being at all levels. Julia is an EFT Universe Certified Practitioner who has utilised EFT to help hundreds of clients release stress and experience personal peace. Julia has guided clients to overcome phobias such as flying, driving, and fear of water. Julia specialises in helping clients to heal significant trauma. She has supported many clients dealing with surviving child sexual abuse, domestic violence, depression, anxiety and anorexia. Julia also helps people with emotional pain from relationship issues, accidents and grief. Julia acts as a catalyst for people to heal, grow and empower themselves.

As a former corporate trainer and secondary school teacher, I offer EFT as a stress management tool and to improve both individual and team performance for small teams in corporate and sporting settings. I also offer an Introduction to EFT for community organisations. I love that EFT helps people to release negative emotions allowing them to move towards leading happy lives.

Holding a Diploma of Counselling, I combine this with my practice of Emotional Freedom Techniques and have over 20 years’ work experience in human resources and recruitment. Due to the nature of the work I have undertaken in my career, I am and continue to be people focused, and operate with integrity, empathy and compassion. My passion and purpose is about supporting and guiding people to understand themselves in order to live a happier and healthier life; a more fulfilled life, lived wholeheartedly. More specifically, supporting and coaching career mums who are impacted emotionally with working full or part-time and challenged with finding balance in their lives. Ultimately, to coach and support people with reducing stress, anxiety and emotional pain to live a life wholeheartedly, with purpose, balance and fulfilment.

I am Nicole Ivens and I am a Professional Counsellor & Certified EFT Practitioner, I specialise in supporting your emotional wellbeing. As a child I was always described as being sensitive and overemotional, I now work to help clients to feel emotionally strong and confident in coping with their emotions and sensitivity. I am also a mum to two teenage girls who also use EFT to cope with the ups and downs of teenage life and our eldest daughter was diagnosed with Epilepsy a few years ago. I have found EFT to be a great gift to us as a family in managing anxiety for both our daughter but also myself as her mother, her father and her sister.
